Sweet success at HP Discover 2014

“The numbers speak for themselves. Software-Defined Enterprises are 37% more responsive to IT requests”
Brent Sullivan, Director of HP Strategic Alliance, VMware – HP Discover

We recently attended HP Discover in Barcelona, showcasing the VMware and HP partnership with no less than 27 sessions at the event dedicated to VMware software.

In addition to our sessions, we had a booth at the event which gave us the opportunity to have some really inspiring conversations with our customers. As Rory Choudhuri, Senior Product Marketing Manager, VMware, says in the video below, customers are more and more open to hearing about extending virtualization, changing the way we build infrastructures and how IT can really make a different to the wider business.

Stephanie Hardisty, Global Marketing Manager for Strategic Alliances, VMware, also attended the event and in the video below you can hear her discuss the VMware and HP partnership, including how an incredible 60% of VMware solutions are on HP hardware.

There were numerous interactive presentations taking place at the VMware booth as well, taking customers on a journey to the Software-Defined Data Center by means of a gameshow, with great prizes on offer. We saw particular interest in VMware EVO:RAIL, so make sure to take a look at the EVO:RAIL presentation below.

Thank you to everyone who attended and got involved – you can catch up on some of our Twitter highlights below. There will be many more exciting events coming up in 2015 from which we’ll bring you all the latest news, so keep an eye on our blog and @VMware_UK as we head into 2015.
