As we discussed at the end of 2014, network virtualization is going to play an important part in enterprise IT, and we’re already starting to see understanding and deployment grow. It is a core part of our SDDC strategy (see our recent announcement on vCloud for NFV) and holds the key to help IT departments deliver network security, agility and cost savings and support demands from the wider business.
To help businesses understand the benefits of network virtualization, VMware will be attending the NFV & SDN Summit in Paris from the 17th to the 20th of March. The event will be taking place alongside the MPLS & SDN World Congress.
At these events, experts from around the world will come together to discuss key issues such as standards versus open source, and the role of OpenStack and OpenDaylight in network orchestration, control and management. If you’re attending, make sure to stop by the VMware booth (309) and speak to our experts to learn more about network virtualization, how it can help your business and what VMware is doing in this field with VMware NSX.
Keep an eye on the blog and @VMware_UK on Twitter over the coming days for news on some of the VMware sessions at the events.
