New research from VMware, which questioned IT decision makers and employees across EMEA UK, has revealed that concerns over trust, ownership and delivery capability is holding businesses back from taking advantage of the mobile cloud-era.
According to these findings, it takes organisations 2 weeks on average to get employees mobile ready. IT departments blame this delay on a lack of mobile management capabilities, control and confusion about who’s responsibility it is to manage mobile access.
Any delay in getting employees functioning at full speed can lead to businesses handing over a competitive edge to others. Organisations need to empower employees to collaborate with whoever they require, from any location, at any time, while minimizing security risks.
