VMware named “Champion” in Cloud Management

As one of the most feature-driven cloud platforms it is no surprise that VMware’s vCloud Suite with vCloud Automation Center (vCAC) has been crowned the “champion” in cloud management platforms by Info-Tech Research Group.

VMware’s cloud management solution was described by Info-Tech as, “…a great solution for existing customers looking to capitalise on VMware’s ownership of the entire software defined data centre…a comprehensive and effective cloud management suite.” And according to Info-Tech the cloud management solution is available at a “surprisingly competitive price.”

The Info-Tech report called “Vendor Landscape: Cloud Management Platforms” outlines the results of product and vendor analysis that features 10 vendors that compete in this space.

Nine features were assessed by Info-Tech Research including performance monitoring, architecture mapping tools, and showback/chargeback capabilities, and VMware’s rating was unbeaten the other vendors.
