VMworld Europe 2014: Day 1 Keynote announcements

Day 1 of VMworld Europe 2014 got off to a spectacular start earlier today with the opening keynote from Pat Gelsinger and senior executives including Sanjay Poonen, Bill Fathers, Maurizio Carli and Kit Colbert.
Together they outlined VMware’s direction and vision for the future, and the new solutions which will drive this. According to Pat, the world is becoming increasingly fluid, and this is impacting every aspect of our lives, from education to business. As a result, all of VMware’s solutions are focused on enabling organisations to respond to these rapidly changing market conditions, satisfying both business and end-user requirements.
